My recipe for the week is MONKEY BREAD!
The way I make it is easy, I think. (To make it fun, tell your kids that the Monkey Bread is truly made out of monkeys. HA HA)
MONKEY BREAD
ingredients:
4 cans (10 count) biscuits
1 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 tbsp cinnamon
chopped pecans (optional)
Grease a Bundt pan well. Sprinkle chopped pecans over bottom of pan.
Tear all biscuits into quarters. In plastic bag, combine the WHITE sugar and the cinnamon. Coat the biscuit pieces, a few at a time, and layer into Bundt pan.
In saucepan, melt butter with BROWN sugar.
Pour butter/brown sugar mixture over the biscuits.
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
Let cool for about 10 minutes.
Turn out onto cake pan.
EAT WITH YOUR HANDS =)
When saucepan is cool, it is really important for you to get a spoon and scrape every bit of the butter and sugar to eat while the cake is baking! In fact...if you so choose, you can now toss the cake out. HA HA! just kidding! :D
Enjoy!

I so love me some monkey bread. I first had it in college thanks to my roommate Christine.
Love a recipe that is easy and yummy. I am very tempted. Hey, I saw you had 7 people for "happy home". See, you are growing already, almost doubled in one week. That is great.
Looks great! Thanks for sharing!

I'm sure you could use canned clams for the chowder. I would have to, too. (I'm nowhere near the coast.)
