Hola! Hope y'all have had a great week. And I hope that you will join me on MHHM! I would love to see your ideas.
Making a Happy Home Monday is a blog carnival that I started about 1 month ago. The idea behind it is this....we all have areas in our homes that need a little attention. And quite honestly, most will take only a few minutes. So I'm asking you to find an area and improve it a bit. Make the area work for you a bit better, either in function or in beauty.
I would love for our ideas to be an inspiration and an encouragement for other women to improve their environments. You can clean out your fireplace, have a fresh batch of cookies ready for your kids when they come home, or hang a new wreath on your door. Big or small, any area of your home is worth 15 minutes of your time.
"If Momma ain't happy, then nobody's happy." That is true in my house. Take control of the unhappy areas. Make a happy home.
Sign up at the bottom on Mr. Linky. Then, go and see what everyone else is doing. Show them some blogger love and leave a comment. I hope you will join me.
This Monday, I decided to work on the area that we see everyday. It's the place that all my visitors see first thing. It's the part of my home that makes an impression, but is easy to overlook because it is outside.....MY FRONT PORCH.

I would post but most of our work is going towards getting the baby room ready!! Not doing much around the home other than making sure its cleaned!!
How cute - especially the soccer pumpkin LOL
Hi I am new here. So this will be my first time.
I like the holiday pumpkin look. Good job. Sorry , I don't have a Happy Home, post this week. Not to inspired, here had hubby's tiny apartment. I will work on something for next week. Still not house sold. His apartment is in Grapevine, and I am getting familiar with this area. Anyway, going home tomorrow, but will be back, soon.
Have a good blog carnival, today!
Sorry I haven't been involved in this. We have just been so busy...but I love it. I had so much to catch up on today. My main priority was...washing all the travel clothes, washing S.G.'s sheets, putting away all the washed clothes, cleaning our bathroom and mopping the kitchen floor. Now mind you, that sounds like a lot, but there's still so much to do. However, I feel much better that I got those things done!!
BTW, S.G. and I are headed to the pumpkin patch after school.
Oops I forgot to take off the "Cranberry Punch"! Forgive me!!!
Ok My post is up now. Sorry My daughter is here, So I forgot to complete it.
Thanks for stopping by.
What a fun idea. I can't wait to dive into everyone's success stories... especially with ours going a little slower than planned because we're in a new country.
Love all the pumpkins and the atmosphere they create!
Katie
