i think this is some drunk in a bar talking out of his a**. This is not a view shared by leading world economists. Anyone truly interested in thinking about the subject should pay attention to the G20 summit or have a look at The Economist or the Financial Times -- who endorsed Obama for president, btw.--b
My first thought is that the economy can not always go up. We are headed down right now, but we will go up again and I think if not in 2009, we will for sure go up in 2010. Did he say worse than the Great Depression? If so, he should never be interviewed again.
Well it is just like fox to take Celente out of context. He is not claiming that Obama is going to cause this, but that there is nothing that can be done to stop it. Huge difference.
I think homemade is great. But a depression is scary. It seems all these companies are going out of business and people losing jobs. Who is going to stay afloat?
That is a very scary thought but then again the guy was in a bar. All I have to say to that is some of us are already in the place of having to cut back on gifts and put the money elsewhere if he's right I'm going to dread when that year comes.
I think it is time to start stocking up - as I have been trying to do. Also, just a tip - if we do hit a depression you will not be able to find things like canning supplies. Just a tip for anyone out there who cares.
I'm a full-time mom to 4 wonderful boys ages 19, 17, 15 and 13. My sweet hubby, who happens to be my best friend, is a pilot. We have been married for 27 years, but have known each other since 1st grade. I was a middle school math teacher, but began staying home with the birth of my 4th child. After being home for 8 years, I went back into teaching. I currently teach 4th grade math.

Getting back to the real meaning of Christmas would be amazing. Obama scares me though, I can't see him doing anything good.
