SHORT BUS
http://www.kmpx29.tv/shows/aqnp/
ETA: Posh Nosh is not a serious cooking show....it's a sitcom. (sorry that I didn't make that clear in the last post. =) )
I APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE
I apologize NOW for anyone I might offend.
Mexican TV....I'm not talking about news, soaps or such that are for spanish speaking audience....I'm talking about a comedy show, "a que no puedes." (which means, "Betcha Can't.")
You have probably done what I was doing this evening, mindlessly flipping through the tv channels, looking for something to watch. Most of you have cable, dish or satellite, so your trip through the channels is a LOT longer....it takes me about 23 seconds. One channel that escaped our deletion is channel 29.
Now I have often come across British programs on PBS. Some are lame, some are quite good...one is pretty twisted, but leaves me fascinated. It's called "Posh Nosh." It is supposedly a cooking show, but really disturbing. (I hope it doesn't disappoint people that I laugh at this....I have only seen it twice.)
"Lard makes me think of fat people in the co-op. Perhaps you're one of them." roflmbo!!!
But, Posh Nosh is not the reason I'm posting. No, this show "a que no puedes" is just weird.
Here is what I can tell (can't understand anything, though I'm sure one dude referred to his grandma at one point.)
Some dude, with really bad hair hosts a game show. There are scantily clad dancing girls....heh, I could do that, even with my body now. AND there are 2 clowns, for lack of a better title. All I know is one of them MIGHT be a hottie...except I can't get past his nose. LOL!

Go to the above link. Look to the right where it says "video." Play it and take a look.
Well, tonight, there was a singing group (the one where the lead was crooning about his grandmother) that was pretty good. The girls...well, they were a bit fluffy, but had GREAT hair. And there was a midget....er.....little person. Anyway, at the end, this mi...little person bowled himself under the legs of all who were on stage. NO KIDDING!
There were about 8 people who lined up, legs spread. And Shorty (not his real name) slid, on the floor, under these guys. I laugh just thinking about it.
I don't know...just thought I would share.

SHARE THE LOVE

My friend at tollesons4him gave me this sweet award. Thanks so much!
Crystal at Memoirs Of A Mommy created this award in honor of the donor that saved Noah's Life. Noah is her son and he had a heart transplant when he was under one month old. He just turned one earlier this month!! Her hopes are that in passing this award around, we are creating more awareness of the importance of organ donation. As Sarah did, now it is my turn to pass on the award to Share The Love and spread the word about Organ Donation. I am passing this on to: whomever reads my blog and blogs for themselves.

IT IS WITH GREAT
My son, always my baby, forever my first born, does not need me as much as he used to. He probably doesn't want me around as much, either....thankfully, he doesn't show it too often and is patient with my hugs, kisses and pleas to not grow too fast.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SON. I love you SO MUCH! God loves you. May you always enjoy health and happiness. Be blessed.
IMPORTANT DAY
OK....this day is important for 2 reasons, but I shan't combine the ideas as one simply cannot be overshadowed by the other.
BUT....today IS June 25th...exactly 6 months from....YOU know! :D heehee!!!!
"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!"

ABSOLUTE TRUTH
You see, usually, when my hubby partakes of something with the confectioner's delight, he has a coughing fit. It is usually following a bite of powdered donut, or cake with a decent dusting. He ALWAYS takes a bite, and before he can swallow, starts a coughing streak. I usually laugh. He has yet to turn blue...he always recovers. Still, it's funny as all get out.
We decided this had to be an absolute truth when we were on our dinner cruise. DH got a bread pudding. It was YUMMY! He took his first bite and immediately started with his spasm of sputtering. We investigated his dessert and saw that there was just the slightest bit of a dusting on his plate....HIS PLATE! heh...it is still funny =)
This is how true this is....I dilute the stuff. In fact, you would probably have to soak something really dark, for a few hours, to get a lightening of color. My hubby walks past and next thing I know, we are tossing out something that has a dot or two of bleached out fabric. I even give verbal warnings...only by avoiding the location with about a 3 foot radius (which seems to be the "jumping capability" of the stuff) can he wear his clothes another day.
Well, there you have it. Another oddity in my family.

JUST BECAUSE
